Responsible for the assembly of standard wired panels devices, we are seeking a Panel Wiring B to join our team. This position will be responsible for assembling standard enclosures, following detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures per drawings. For the right candidate, this role can lead to other exciting opportunities at our Appleton location in Houston, Texas (13639 Aldine Westfield), or perhaps within the vast Emerson network of companies

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

* Responsible for the assembly of standard wired panels devices according to provided electrical schematics.
* Assembling standard enclosures including motor starters (per print), circuit breakers & disconnects (per drawings)
* Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
* Follow detailed policies and procedures as designated by the Company's Quality System
* Provide products and services that consistently meet or exceed our internal and external customer's requirements. Ensure that assembled products meet all print requirements.
* Able to safely and accurately operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes
* Participate in training and continuing education.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Work overtime as required.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Relevant work experience including a minimum of 1-year previous panel wiring experience.
* Able to read standard wiring diagrams and schematics.
* Experienced in the proper and safe use of hand and light power tools.
* Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in a bending, standing, or squatting positions for long periods of time (excess of one hour)
* Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English)
* Follow written and/or oral instructions in English.
* Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

* Pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts
