Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

* Assist with direct patient care procedures
* Obtain patient history
* Take Vital Signs
* Prepare Charts
* Assist with medical examinations
* Perform routine procedures under stablished protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, dressing changes and wound cultures)
* Provide routine clinical tasks
* Perform routine blood drawing procedures
* Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
* Assist with examinations and/or treatments
* Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

* Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in FL, required.
* FL or National Certification for Certified Medical Assistant preferred
* Normal physical requirements - standing, walking, sitting, lifting, squatting, etc.
* High School Diploma or GED Certificate
* Valid CPR Card
* Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare=
