About the Role
As an experienced Sonographer, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full-time position and is based out of our Charlotte clinic.
Responsibilities:
* Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment.
* Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis.
* Act to ensure the continuity of care through effective interactions with other departments.
* Monitor supply stock to ensure adequate reserve.
* Perform preventative maintenance on ultrasound and medical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and promptly report deficiencies to management.
* Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures associated with safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and company operation
Who you are:
* ARDMS in OB/GYN required
* Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification.
* Diploma or certificate of completion from an accredited medical sonography program.
* At least one to two years of experience in a relevant role; experience in women's health is required; experience in fertility is strongly preferred.
* Two to three years of undergraduate education or equivalent.
* Must be willing to learn ultrasound guidance for surgical procedures.
