As an ophthalmic technician in our state-of-the-art practice, you will be:
- Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
- Proficient in Medical Scribing.
- Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
- Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
- Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
- Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
- Proficient with EMR computer programs.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong Ophthalmic Tech experience
- Proficient in Medical Scribing.
- Refractions experience
- Experience with checking vision and identifying chief complaint
- IOP
- Knowledge of various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
- Strong hospitality, customer service, and patient care skills
