**Description:**

Performs duties related to a variety of radiographic technical procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.

**Status:** Casual

**Shift:** Days

**What you will need:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology.

+ Current ARRT registration in radiography RT(R) and RT(M) without restriction; must be certified in both radiography and mammography.

+ Current BLS certification.

**What you will do:**

+ Perform mammographic examinations.

+ Provide appropriate radiation shield and collimation to adhere to ALARA principles.

+ Utilizes effective communication skills in interpersonal relationships with patients, physicians, guests and other members of the health care team.

+ Positions the patient carefully and accurately to obtain the requested examination.

+ Selects correct technical factor combinations to produce high quality images; adapts technical factors for unusual variations of the patient or other factors.
