Position is required to be on-site in Hawley, MN.

Summary

The Revit Technician is responsible for assisting with the preparation of erection shop drawings, details, and production tickets. While working alongside the engineer, the Revit Technician will assist with the logistics of projects from start to finish for the fabrication and installation of precast concrete products.

Essential Functions
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of drawings, details, and production tickets.
  • Coordinate and manage Revit models and model data.
  • Create Parametric Intelligent Revit families.
  • Review all work for completeness and accuracy.
  • Use checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.
  • Provide accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
  • Observe professional ethics.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools (Fusion 360/ Inventor).
  • Supporting and auditing the project team and flagging non-compliances.
  • Adhering to the latest industry standards.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

Required: Associate degree in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or related field.

Experience Requirements
  • 1+ years in Revit modeling and drafting in an architectural or engineering environment.
  • Experience with EDGE^R Precast Software a plus.
  • Knowledge of general building concepts.
  • Self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills with a high attention for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a participative/ team-oriented environment.
