Salary: $1,747 - $2,292 Biweekly

* Although the minimum - midpoint salary range for this position is provided, appointments are typically made at or near the minimum range.

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Should be prepared to work additional hours (early/late/weekend) if needed during critical media events; must also be prepared to take after hours calls to update organization website as needed.

Responsibilities

Leads work on in-car video systems including hardware, software, data storage and network. Installs, tests, monitors, upgrades, troubleshoots and repairs assigned computer and network equipment. Maintains firmware and peripherals including network cabling and power cords. Stays current on all assigned hardware. Configures hardware to include upgrades and patches. Works on operating systems, utilities, patch management, service desk, antivirus, backups and other software as required. Installs, tests, monitors, upgrades, troubleshoots and repairs assigned software. Researches software issues with available resources including the internet. Manages user account information, including rights, security and systems groups. Configures software to include upgrades and patches. Keeps up with the latest technologies as assigned. Maintains knowledge of assigned technologies with provided training and resources. Maintains various records and documentation for computer and networking systems; may write scripts or other simple computer code. Resolve user problems; provides guidance for the resolution of complex problems; corrects routine problems by making minor repairs to computer equipment and/or entering specialized commands or data info systems; contacts appropriate resources for additional assistance. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Work requires an Associate's Degree or 2 year technical certificate and (2) two years' IT experience. A CompTia A+ certification and a CompTia Network + certification preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
