Here's what you'd do:

The Senior Tax Analyst performs a wide range of tax related functions associated with completing the company's corporate tax return. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of tax planning strategies, and assisting I the calculation of the company's tax provision under ASC740 (formerly FAS 109).

You'd be responsible for:

* Demonstrates a strong understanding of corporate income tax concepts and actively pursues increased tax knowledge through assignments and current tax developments.
* Assists in gathering information for completion of various tax compliance, including Canadian and US Federal and State income and franchise tax returns and audits.
* Assist Senior Manager, Corporate Tax with the implementation of various Corporate Income tax return projects.
* Works with finance group to gather information necessary (trial balances, fixed asset reports, compensation schedules, etc.) to prepare quarterly tax provisions, tax estimated payments, and federal and state tax returns and extensions.
* Assists in the gathering and documenting of book-tax differences used in tax provision and return reporting.
* Assists in the compilation of ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109) reporting workpapers.
* Researches, quantifies, and documents tax positions and strategies.
* Establishes/maintains long-term working relationships with internal clients and colleagues.
* Shares knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery.
* Facilitates communication and provides ample assistance to team members.
* Leverages technology to continually maximize productivity.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

You might be a good fit if you have:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
* MS in Taxation or pursuing such degree a plus
* Minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate Income Tax
* CPA or Enrolled Agent eligibility preferred
* Familiar with tax research software (BNA) a plus
* Familiar with JD Edwards and OneStream applications a plus
* Familiar with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision software
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Good problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Ability to work independently
* Demonstrated good team interaction skills
