ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:Temporary Part-Time Position, Non-rotating 15 hour work week, end of school day - 6pm, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work additional hours as needed by department.

Responsibilities

The essential duties for this position are as follows: Must possess strong communication and leadership skills to appropriately address any needs expressed by children 5 to 13 years of age; must use good judgment to effectively supervise a group of at least 20 children; have skills in instructing a variety of recreational programs; must be able to administer first aid/CPR, and must have clerical skills to complete required reports. Implements weekly lesson plans and schedules of site/center, providing instruction when necessary. Deliver daily deposits to financial institution as required. Provide good customer service to internal and external customers. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications prior to job assignment. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
