Remote Transportation Engineer, Ohio:

In this position, you will have the opportunity to expand on your current skills while mentoring and growing a team focused on small to large Transportation projects.

Role accountabilities:

+ Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects,

+ Perform work involving the preparation of Roadway design using local (State, County or City) or AASHTO standards

+ Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality

+ Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development:

+ Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project

+ Develop opportunity leads, project teams and coordination with the Infrastructure Client Development team to capture strategic projects

+ Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters, and development of project plans and schedules

+ Contribute to and assist in leading the strategic planning, development, and growth of the Ohio Transportation team.

+ Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.

Qualifications & Experience:

+ Experience in progressive highway (ODOT) design experience, including PM experience.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

+ Ohio PE license or ability to obtain (flexible here)

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in progressive highway (ODOT) design experience.

+ Experience working on large ODOT projects

+ Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
