The Nursing Director - Emergency Department (ED) is responsible for leading the ED nursing team, optimizing operations, and ensuring top-tier patient care. This role requires specialized training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider. As Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in the ED's success and the delivery of superior patient care by collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals.

  • Lead the ED nursing team, fostering teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care, following clinical standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage nursing staff for optimal patient care.
  • Identify opportunities, lead improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate on budget management and maintain financial accountability.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and develop emergency response plans.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arizona.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management in a hospital setting, with at least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Specialized training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) applications.
