Summary:

Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

* Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required

License or Certification

* Valid Drivers License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.

Specialized Skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members
* Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
* Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
* Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
* Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks
* Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

* Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
* Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus
* Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
* Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
* Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
* Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
* Frequently exposed to loud noise levels

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Ensure Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
* Safe operation of equipment, including : 21 and 36 mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
* Basic understanding of Plant ID
* Basic hand pruning skills
* Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
* Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordances with Monarch Safety Policy
* Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
* Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures

Pay range: $16.00 - $20.00
