Role: Psychiatric Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Contract Duration: 14 weeks contract with a possibility of extension

Pay Rate: Up to $26/hr

Work Schedule: 40hrs/week

Shift: Six 12.5-hour periods, (to include an uncompensated 30-minute meal break) and one 8.5-hour period (to include an uncompensated 30-minute meal break) per two-week period.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS (Applicants will be denied if these requirements are not met)
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Experience: For a Psych Tech: One year of experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree: Certificate.
  • Education: For a Psych Tech: Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician Program; or completion of an equivalent education and experience that meets the requirement of the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians or completion of education and experience as a behavioral science specialist/technician in the United States military and proof of having completed an Armed Forces course involving psychiatric technician training or civilian course from an accredited school in the care of behavioral health patients.
