* Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.

Responsibilities

* Under general supervision of the Registered Nurse, function as a member of the surgical team, creating and maintaining a sterile field, supplying surgeon with needed instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures of Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital.
* Assist with and assume general departmental duties and responsibilities.
* Practice within the guidelines set by AST and AORN.
* Perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

* Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures
* Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)

Preferred Job Requirements

* Two (2) years clinical practice with experience in the specific field
