Professional Student Radiological Intern

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed radiological technologist, assists in providing direct care for a select group of patients. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Must be currently enrolled in an approved Radiological Technologist Program and a senior/second year student. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Annual BLS certification required. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.# Good interpersonal, organizational and critical decision-making skills required.
