Description of Duties:
  • The Nursing Supervisor Task will include:Supervise eight staff.
  • outside providers and Collaborate with Primary Care Physicians, Consultants,
  • Coordinate medical care for ten individuals. On-call requirement to respond via phone in-person to emergencies
  • Provide technical support to non-licensed staff regarding healthcare services and medication administration including g-tube feeding & medication administration
  • Training & Monitoring of non-medical staff on g-tube feeding & medication administration, Foley Catheter, and Colostomy Elag.
  • Monitor record keeping/documentation for accuracy and detail.Perform monthly assessments of resident status.
  • Development & review of Nursing Care Plans. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assists physician with.medication and evaluation clinics.
  • Dispenses medication to clients as directed by physician.
  • Oversees medical records of medication dispensed to clients.
  • Serves as liaison for clients with community physicians and community mental health agency in providing services to clients.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and prescription drugs under direction of supervisor.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and prescription drugs under direction of supervisor.
  • Observes cliehts receiving medicine and reports reactions to supervisor.
  • Interprets physician instructions to clients and responds to client.inquiries regarding medical treatment.
  • Assists counseling staff with supervision of residents as needed,
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
