IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

- Autistic Client in Lake Mary 8A-6P Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Saturday and 13:30P-6P on Monday and Tuesdays. There is a therapy dog in the home.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities
  • Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
  • Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
  • Assist patients in walking, outdoor activities, etc.
  • Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards.
  • Shadowing RBT on day-to-day activities.
  • Keep a line of sight supervision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional caregiving experience
  • Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training (virtual courses not accepted)
  • TB Skin test dated within the past year or chest x-ray dated within the past 5 years
  • Background check
  • Reliable car and auto insurance. Certain days will require the client to be picked up from school or taken to appointments. Eligibility to drive is required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working with children.
  • Experience working with nonverbal autistic children.
  • Certain days will require the client to be picked up from school or taken to appointments. Eligibility to drive is preferred.
  • Able to engage in dynamic activities.
