Description: Work with the supervising faculty member on a current research project.

Responsibilities may include:

* Searching current literature for articles relevant to project
* Write and/or edit literature review from relevant articles approved by supervisor
* Assist with data collection
* Assist with data analysis
* Write and/or edit summary of research findings to be included in journal article
* Edit draft of journal article prior to submission
* Other duties in support of the research project
* Remote work is a possibility upon request from your supervisor

Research Topics:

Nazan Cetin: Project pertains to research on improving psychosocial support services in healthcare

settings for youth experiencing chronic physical disease (i.e., cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease)

Lalit Khandare: Looking for an RA who may be interested in one of the following projects: CSWE &

Kendall Institute Global Social Work Curriculum Development Project, Behavioral Workforce

Development Grant Evaluation, Social Work Student self & community care, or Caste among south Asian

immigrants in the USA.

Killian Kinney: Qualitative and mixed methods research focused on LGBTQ topics, including wellbeing,

community belonging, healthcare, and policies.

Nancy Murakami: Research pertains to refugee mental health and International social work.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Full time enrollment in MSW program at Pacific University
* Punctual, ability to work independently, attention to detail, polite, courteous
* Computer literacy skills (Google, MS Office, etc)
* Excellent skills in task and time management
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hours per week: To be determined by the supervising faculty member
