Salary: $1,241 - $1,889 Biweekly (Dependent on Qualifications)

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed by department.

Responsibilities

Ability to read and understand all types of engineering and architectural plans and specifications. Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Attend project meetings. Prepare required contract documentation (daily reports, monthly estimates, etc.). Coordinate all quality control testing with contracted testing laboratories. Assist in resolving construction problems and disputes. Interaction with the public on any issues associated with assigned construction projects. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires an Associate's Degree with two (2) years of experience in municipal infrastructure construction or other related fields. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
