The season set by VHSL February through May, plus additional post-season play. The season covers scrimmages, district level games, and post-season tournaments. Practice time may vary, but is expected to cover five days per week is five days per week.

Extended days cover summer clinics, rules clinic, physicals, summer camp, fund raisers, holiday practices, off-season supplemental weight training, pre and post season inventory.

The coach reports to the athletic director and is evaluated by the principal.
