7 years minimum experience working in a relevant healthcare setting.
5 years minimum experience in healthcare leadership.

Essential Responsibilities
- Leads the development of new and acquired medical practices in alignment with the UF Health St. Johns business strategy. This high level responsibility would include the review, synthesizing of due diligence information and perform a comprehensive financial, performance, and risk analysis.
- Supports the coordination of operational activities, with emphasis on meeting service standards. Analyzes the performance of the practice sites providing insight and recommendations to optimize performance, practice revenue, access to care, and the utilization of services. Proactively anticipates and addresses service, staffing or operational challenges and works to mitigate or prevent them from occurring.
- Facilitates patient flow through the practice and mediates any patient concerns, with emphasis on patient experience.
- Ensures the accuracy of patient-related activities such as registration, managed care referrals, the collection, recording and distribution of cash and check payments, and clinical duties.
- Implements processes and procedures to ensure efficient processing of work including, but not limited to, scheduling, referral management, pre-registration and patient collections. Works with the entire practice team (nursing, medical assistants, administrative managers, & other support personnel) to develop office policies, procedures and protocols.
- Assists in planning, monitoring and/or managing budget in functional area of department. Proactively addresses deviations and plans for corrective actions to mitigate unnecessary expenditures to the organization.
- Identifies opportunities to extend support or training to team members through the facilitation of open and constructive dialogue cultivating an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Supervises and directs the team including employee hiring, termination, corrective action and performance reviews, with an emphasis on skill and professional development.
- Leads the development and documentation of guidelines related to service delivery and / or professional practice in collaboration with relevant staff. Strives to achieve continued process and service standards implementing training and process improvement efforts to try and achieve excellence.
