Cardiovascular Technician

Reporting to the Department Manager and under general supervision, according to established procedures and protocols, the Cardiovascular Technician will perform treadmill stress testing, Holter monitor hook-ups, event monitors and the accompanying scanning or recording all test data and ensuring data is processed and labeled for review to be interpreted by dictating physicians.

Required qualifications:

* Completion of EKG Tech Program from an accredited vocational school or college.
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
* 6 months of Experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting
* Experience with Allscripts, IDX, Cardiowrite, Word, Excel, Meditech, and Citrix.

Preferred qualifications:

* Associate's Degree
* Certificate in arrhythmia recognition and interpretation upon hire.
* ACSM-CEP Certification upon hire.
* 1 year of Experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting
* EKG Technician experience.
