Pay:

$40 an hour with opportunity for overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team as part of this new project launch in California. In this role, you will provide essential patient care in a mobile setting, operating new ambulances and delivering healthcare services in patients' homes. This contract-to-hire opportunity is guaranteed through February, with potential for a longer-term position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visits: 5-6 in-home patient visits per day
  • Perform point-of-care testing (blood drops, nasal swabs) and collect blood samples for lab tests
  • Conduct EKGs, health screenings, eye exams, wound care, and vital sign assessments
  • Provide non-complex wound care, fluoride varnish treatments, and facilitate video visits with providers
  • Execute patient engagement programs focused on care gap closures for Medicare and Medicaid recipients

Vehicle Features:
  • Insurance coverage and gas card provided
  • Daily planned travel routes with GPS tracking
  • Safety cameras and escalation contacts with company cell phones

Contract Length:

1040 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Licensure: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with active CA license
  • Certifications: IV Certification, experience with blood draws and IV procedures
  • Driving Requirements: Active California Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and at least 2 years of driving experience; must be comfortable driving long distances if needed
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (e.g., EKG machines and other medical equipment)
  • Technology Use: Proficiency with mobile healthcare technology, including EKG machines
  • Preferred Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Requirements
  • Must be comfortable working in patients' homes within designated communities
  • Knowledge of North Hollywood and surrounding areas is beneficial
  • Flexibility to attend orientation in Torrance if necessary

Dress Code
  • Professional attire: black pants and black shoes. We will provide additional branded attire.
