Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Equipment Operation. Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional exams on Philips Allura Angiography equipment along with cutting edge tools needed for some of the most complex cases offered today including, but not limited to STEMI emergent care, mechanical support devices, and TAVR.
* Patient Care. Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the area; maintain a safe and comfortable environment, proficient in the preparation of the patient for all procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and EP Laboratory.
* Documentation. Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and documentation of procedure. The Tech is also responsible for the maintenance, inventory, stocking & sterile preparations of all equipment, parts, catheter devices & room preparations for each procedure.

Qualifications

* Graduated from an approved Radiologic Technology Certification school in California (CA) or passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.
* California Fluoroscopy License
* Preferred Current or within previous 2 years, work in cardiac catheterization service areas. (Exceptions made in case by case basis). Angiographic experience with scrubbing. Hemodynamic Monitoring Experience. Electrocardiogram (ECG) Interpretation preferred.
* Must have or plan to acquire within a timely manner, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
* On Call Requirements - Must live or plan to stay within 30 min of the facility while on Standby for STEMI and other emergencies. 10-15 days/month
