* UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

* Perform all procedures relevant to breast imaging
* Utilize a comprehensive approach to breast health in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service: the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van
* Participate in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and demonstrate exceptional patient service skills

Qualifications

Job Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology
* Two year as a Radiologic technologist
* One year as a mammography technologist
* Currently certified AART and Texas Department of Health
* Certified in mammography
* CPR certified
* American Cancer Society certified Breast Self Exam instructor

Preferred Job Requirements

* Mobile mammography experience
