Psychotherapist

Mental Health & Recovery Services of JH is looking to hire a full-time therapist to join our dynamic team. MHRSJH is a non-profit organization that provides essential mental health & substance use treatment services on a sliding fee, based on the ability to pay. Flexible schedule available but must be willing to work some weekends and /or evenings. Experience with community mental health, co-occuring disorders (mental health & SUD), crisis and serious mental illness is preferred. Must be licensed in WY or eligible for license. Bonus for Spanish Speaking.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A master's degreein a behavioral health field from a regionally accredited institution of higherlearning.

2. Current Wyominglicensure in good standing in his/her discipline by the appropriate Wyominglicensing authority.

3. A solid grasp of,and commitment to, the ethical principles governing the professional practiceof his/her discipline.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide directintake, evaluation, and treatment services to prospective and enrolled clientsof MHRS.

2. Provide crisisevaluation and intervention services.

3. Maintain and managea clinical case load at a number and scopeto be determined by the Executive Director.

4. Provide after-hoursemergency on-call services as assigned (minimum of 250 hrs./year for FT).

5. Complete andmaintain all paperwork in a timely manner in accord with MHRS and third-partypayer requirements.

6. Provide allnetworking and ancillary services as appropriate and necessary to support andmanage direct clinical services.

7. Attend staffmeetings, team meetings, clinical meetings, supervision, and other meetings asrequired.

8. Participate in CARFaccreditation activities including committees, trainings, and exercises.

9. Maintain WyomingLicense in good standing and credentialing at St. John's Medical Center asassigned. Completion of all CEU requirements and submission of renewal oflicense as required by the appropriate licensing Board.

10. Participate inorganizational goals of Practice Management as adopted by the agency. This includes open scheduling, collaborative/concurrent documentation, managingcase load and no show/late cancellation and client engagement practices.

11. Other duties asassigned.

Work Environment:

The Psychotherapist may be assigned to work primarily either in theoffices of MHRS or in the community. In any circumstance, he/she willensure that the environment for service provision is as safe as possible. In no case will he/she knowingly place himself/herself at clear risk ofphysical harm.
