Learns, participates in and conducts investigations, supporting senior investigators with complex investigations. Gains understanding of reporting techniques and requirements. Develops communication skills and supports intake of SIU referrals. Supports internal business partners and presents anti-fraud training as needed. Gains and maintains technical competence through continuing education and training. Assists with special projects as assigned.
What you do:
* Identify and conduct fraud investigations. Assist senior investigators with complex cases.
* Gain understanding of investigative methods, insurance products, sales and claims practices, and state and federal regulations pertaining to anti-fraud activities.
* Gain experience in reporting investigation findings to applicable internal and external parties.
* Report incidents of fraud to state and regulatory authorities.
* Answer GOSIU hotline as needed, providing coaching to business partners and sending quality referrals.
* Develop interview skills and effective verbal communication.
* Gain and maintain technical competence through continuing education, training and performance management.
* Assist with special projects as assigned.
What you bring:
* 2-3 years of experience required; insurance industry experience.
* Two-year degree or equivalent work experience.
Travel as required. Job may require periods of bending, stooping, sitting or standing.
