JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee the implementation of district and campus Section 504 Programs. Serve as a liaison between Coordinator of Federal Programs and campuses to provide support around the following program requirements and initiatives: compliance with local, state, and federal law, data and case management. Provide training on ADA/Section 504 legal requirements, documentation requirements and electronic systems used to track and document needs of students identified under Section 504.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate

Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Knowledge of Section 504/ADA Federal Law as it pertains to students
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Clear and concise communication skills in electronic, verbal, and written forms
• Proficiency in utilizing technology
• Demonstrated collaboration and leadership abilities
• Capacity for data analysis and providing recommendations
• Knowledge of instructional accommodations
• Ability to interpret policy and procedures
• Effective public speaking skills for addressing parents, students, and staff
• Skill in building relationships with administrators, teachers and staff
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, and conflict management skills

Experience:
• Minimum of five years teaching/counseling experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership working with multiple campuses preferred
• Experience with ADA/Section 504 preferred as it pertains to students
