Hours Per Week: 36.00

Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Summary:

Performs the functions of processing sterile supplies and equipment for the OR and other departments.

Responsibilities:

- Communicates with co-workers in a positive, courteous, respectful and constructive manner. - Effectively communicates job related information. - Contributes to a positive atmosphere where co-workers can develop skills and abilities to the fullest potential. - Attends work and utilizes PTO program I accordance with policy. - Consistently follows established procedures in processing all items through the preparation cycle. - Accurately assembles, marks and processes instruments. - Keeps equipment clean and well maintained. - Follows policy for quality improvement (Biological indicators item load and logbook). - Maintains appropriate inventories of supplies. - Demonstrates the ability to adapt to an ever-changing patient care environment.

Other Information:

Must obtain CRCST certification within one year of hire.

Education
