Perform maintenance and construction work on the college physical facilities.Essential Job Functions:

* Operation of Power Plant and associated equipment.
* Record keeping on water treatment chillers generators and power plant equipment.
* Perform all types of repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and HVAC equipment.
* Required to keep facilities in operation and good repair.
* Assist in determining needs and submit purchase requests for parts and equipment.
* Assist in planning and carrying out of maintenance preventive maintenance and construction programs.
* Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent,plus specialized maintenance training.

Experience Requirements:

Three years in maintenance.Must be able to obtain a class D license.

Knowledge:

Electrical,mechanical,plumbing,carpentry trades,and state and local building code requirements through experience and/or specialized training.Knowledge of Energy Management computer and HVAC controls.

Skills:

Ability to perform electrical,mechanical,plumbing and carpentry work.

Personal Requirements:

Ability to get along with others.
