Why You Matter:

As a Service Estimator you will be an important member of our service operations team at Lantech. You will skillfully develop estimates based on machine type, options, and customer needs. As the Service Estimator, communication is key in assuring our customers and Lantech are partnering for a successful service visit. Being a part of the service operations team is both challenging and rewarding knowing you are directly contributing to the supply line that moves essential goods around the country and the rest of the world.

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

As a Service Estimator at Lantech, you will:

* Develop and send estimates for service labor and expenses at customer sites including, but not limited to, install supervision, startup, retrofit installation, troubleshoot and repair visits, and production support.
* Communicate with customer to obtain key contacts info, scope of work, timeline of support, POs, enter the service order, and collaborate with service scheduling and invoicing.
* Communicate with the customer to ensure the scope of work for Lantech and the customer are understood by all parties.
* Update the CRM system with status, notes, and calendar service tasks.
* Develop service estimates based on machine, options, and customers schedule and need.
* Collaborate with service scheduling on technician availability based on customers requested dates.
* Obtain PO from customer and enter the service order. Coordinate with accounting to resolve issues related to PO or customer's credit.
* Cross-functional development to assist with scheduling and invoicing and other duties in the Service Operations Team.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who:

* Is able to effectively manage a multiple project workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Is able to read mechanical and/or electrical drawings
* Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Is detail-oriented, self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
* Is result driven process-oriented problem solver.
* Has computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products with strong skills in MS Excel and WORD.

Education & Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* Bachelor's degree preferred (technical focus is a plus).

Desired Skills:

* ERP experience.
* Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge of the Lantech product line
* 3 years' experience with direct customer interface.
* Experience with system integration design, engineering and/or sales knowledge of stretch wrap or conveyance.
