Position Highlights: EKG Cardiac Device Technician

Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as an EKG Cardiac Device Technician at Village Pointe, in Omaha NE.

Shift Details:

* First Shift, 40 hrs/week


* Monday-Friday


* No Holidays no call

Job Description: EKG Cardiac Device Technician

Perform adult and pediatric EKGs, specialty EKG, apply holter monitors and cardiac event recorders. Directly interact with patients, nurses, staff, and physicians. Transcribe test results into hospitals Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Required Qualifications: EKG Cardiac Device Technician

* High school education or equivalent required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications: EKG Cardiac Device Technician

* Two years' experience in EKG preferred.
* Medical experience preferred
* College courses in physiology, anatomy, and/or related subjects preferred.
* Associate of Science degree preferred.
* Graduate of an accredited school of allied health/technology preferred.
