Cardiographic Tech

Position Description:

Perform EKGs, holter monitor application, and event monitor application

Perform treadmill testing

Perform vascular plethysmography

Prepare and relay preliminary reports to proper referring and/or reading physician

Education/Experience:

Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent work experience AND successful completion of the CCI Credentialing Certification for Cardiographic Technicians

Current BLS certification

Must attend and successfully complete a hospital sponsored arrhythmias course within the first six months of employment

Must have a good basic understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia, and vascular hemodynamics
