Microbiology Technician

Location: Birmingham, AL

Contract: 6 months to 12 months

Pay: $26 hr.

Job Description:

* This position isresponsible for conducting routine microbiological testing, documentation and data analysis for release and in-process pharma material, utilities, raw material, facilities, and equipment.
* Responsible for the upkeep of the lab, supplies, and other various routine tasks.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biological sciences, or related field of study
* Experience in a clinical, academic, or industrial/pharmaceutical microbiology lab.
* Experience in microbiological assays and testing.
* Desired experience in environmental monitoring and trending and testing of utilities.
* GMP experience is a plus.
* Ability to work with microorganisms and hot liquids.
