2 LPN's needed for Chamblee location (see attached job description) (2 LPNs for Chamblee location) This is a Monday-Friday long term temp position from 8am to 5pm. Hourly rate depends on experience.
The Licensed Practical Nurse under the supervision of a Mercy Care Medical doctor and/or Nurse practitioner, and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, coordinates target population's access to healthcare, health education, and preventive services. Performs basic patient assessment procedures including vital signs, infection disease control and universal precautions. Responsible for maintaining and ordering medical supplies and materials under the guidance of the Nurse Practitioner and/or Clinic Manager. Performs EKG with the guidance of a licensed Medical Provider. Performs light administrative duties, such as copying and filing. Participates in health fairs or community events on weekends as requested 3-4 times a year.
Provides patient care and/ or support activities appropriate to ages served; primarily adults ages 18-65 or geriatric patients' ages over 65. May also include care for infant age 0-1-year, child ages 1-12 years or adolescent ages 13-17 years.
