Position: Office Clerk (13-Week Contract)
Location: Houston, TX 77032
Pay Rate: $20 per hour Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking an efficient and motivated Office Clerk to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries from subscribers, providers, and the client, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and courteously.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or other languages)
Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
- Efficiently and courteously respond to telephone inquiries from subscribers regarding benefit verification
Provide telephone assistance to subscribers to determine their correct level of benefit coverage
Promptly return phone calls requiring additional research or follow-up
Enter data efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information
Perform daily clerical duties including faxing, copying , and providing general administrative support as needed
Ensure the safe care of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards
Assist in managing time, supplies, productivity, and quality service in alignment with organizational guidelines
Demonstrate a commitment to creating compassionate and personalized experiences for every member of the community
