Mammographer

Parkland Health and Hospital System

Contract position- 3 months

Schedule:Days 7am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4pm

Compensation: $35-$50 per hour

Job Summary: Responsible for the filming and developing of routine to complex quality breast images to the standards of PHHS, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

" Perform mammography tests and develop the results to produce quality breast images for radiologists

" Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed

" Assist physicians in special procedures as needed to ensure that all procedures are performed to the standards of PHHS

" Quality control checks on systems and notify supervisor of maintenance needs to ensure equipment functions properly

" Communicate and consult with patients informing them of procedures to be performed to ensure that patients are as comfortable as possible

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in the performance of mammography
  • ARRT in Mammography required
  • Flexible to cover other sites and Mobile if needed
