Fishers, United States Interim Healthcare Full time

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist candidate who is comfortable with MRI machines to staff at a wonderful hospital in Seymour, Indiana. We currently have a full-time 13-week night shift available. 1-2 years of recent MRI experience is required . The pay rate is $48 - $63 per hour, this is subject to change due to contract availability, position, and facility location.

Requirements of the Radiology Technologist

* Active ARRT Certification and Indiana State (ISDH) Licensure.
* 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
* Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
* Must be able to remain calm under pressure
* Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
* Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility

Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist

* Perform general MRI Scans on patients, producing detailed and high-quality images of the head, spine, extremities, ect.
* Prepare patients by identifying and assisting in removing objects that will interfere with radiology scans and could harm patients.
* Thoroughly explain procedures and safety equipment to ensure patient comfort and enhance understanding.
* Correctly position patients, ensuring alignment, and immobilize/support as necessary to obtain high-quality imaging.
* Operate machines and associated equipment while monitoring/assessing patient conditions.
* Maintain safety protocol at all times, minimizing unnecessary radiation exposures and maximizing patient safety.
* Review all radiologic images for quality and completeness and collaborate with radiologists as needed.
* Document all relevant patient care, and information in an electronic medical record- along with any necessary paperwork required by facility.
