Job Title: Medical Biller

Job Responsibilities:
  • Enter dental and medical services rendered into accounting system.
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients/ patients regarding billing issues.
  • Prepare and send out invoices/ claims to insurance carriers.
  • Verify discrepancies by servicing sites and resolve their billing issues.
  • Use office equipment such as telephone, computer, scanner, fax machine, adding machine and copy machine.
  • Working with AR (aging) and denials / appeals
  • Posting after AR is worked
  • Collections and patient credits worked after

Requirements:
  • 3-4+ years of experience in Billing in a healthcare setting with full billing cycle experience.
  • Exposure to billing Medicare and Medicaid
  • AR / followup experience
  • Group work experience

Pay: $18-$22/hr DOE and increases based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm EST
(This role is ON-SITE for the first 4 weeks for training, and then goes to a hybrid based schedule)
