OrthoCarolina is looking for an Part-Time MRI Technologist for our MRI Department with our Spine and Ballantyne locations in Charlotte and Indian Land in South Carolina..

This position is eligible for our weekend and evening shift differentials and is scheduled for 20-24 hours a week. Shifts occur on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings at the Spine and Ballantyne location.

The MRI Tech provides quality MRI scans for OrthoCarolina providers and primary care physicians. The MRI Technologists will also be responsible for the following:

* Maintains MRI log and routinely checks MRI equipment to ensure safety.
* Works with Tech Assistants to keep work environment clean, safe, and efficient. Demonstrates working knowledge of MRI scanners, protocols, and PACS.
* Assists with various tasks and projects (i.e. ACR testing, research studies, supplies, etc).
* Maintains knowledge of MRI contrast policy and emergency protocols.
* Ability to assist physician and execute emergency procedures if necessary.
* Ability to maintain flexible schedule and/or rotate to various MRI sites as necessary.

Education required:

Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Medical Association.

Professional license or certification requirements:

Registered MRI Tech by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) or ARRT registry eligible.

Current CPR certification recommended.
