We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining program schedules for IT equipment upgrade and alteration projects, ensuring effective coordination and timely completion. If you have a strong background in project scheduling, proficiency in project management techniques, and a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update program schedules for IT equipment upgrade and alteration projects for networks, phones, public address (PA), local area network (LAN), wireless local area networks (WLAN), intrusion alarm (IA) and camera/video systems.
  • Utilize project management techniques such as earned value analysis to determine if ITS projects are on schedule and within established budgets.
  • Consult with administrators to determine key project milestones and develop appropriate schedules.
  • Identify potential project scheduling issues and recommend alternative solutions to prevent delays.
  • Apply quality assurance and quality control processes to program schedules to prevent potential problems.
  • Review construction contract documents and determine if pricing and timelines meet the approved project schedule.
  • Create What If scenarios to show how possible time and cost changes will impact the project schedules over the course of several years and multiple project phases.
  • Attend schedule negotiation meetings and other project related meetings at District offices and school sites, and follow up with project staff for updates on work schedules.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for managers and administrators and provide project schedule updates as necessary.
  • Utilize project management software to develop and share schedules with ITS staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The US base range for this contract position is $50-$58/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
