Job Overview:

The primary function of the Fuel Refinery Driver is to drive a straight truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW to transport and deliver petroleum-based products.

Primary Duties:

* Transport fuel from point of pickup to point of delivery in a safe and efficient manner, following safety protocols.
* Maintain logs of working hours, vehicles service and repair status, following state and federal regulations.
* Ensure that the truck is loaded with correct fuels for each drop location.
* Deliver products in correct quantities as instructed by manager and paperwork.
* Inform manager and safety of any DOT fines, citations or any other relevant issues.
* Communicate with manager any potential customer issues such as; complaints, spills, leaks, incidents, accidents, injuries and vehicle issues.
* Communicate with maintenance in regard to any vehicle issues or needs and report any issues immediately.
* Able to operate all vehicles assigned to them, keeping the truck clean and orderly at all times.
* Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, checking that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
* Load fuels as instructed at designed truck rack using fuel arms and hoses.
* Responsible for general maintenance of truck, including but not limited to: checking oil and fuel levels.
* Complete all "pre-trip" requirements before each truck run and "post-trip" requirement at the end of each shift.
* Able to push 146 and pull 146 pounds, lift 50 pounds, and climb ladder with a minimum of 3 rungs regularly.
* Able to operate computer system.
* Able to read and complete written documentation with respect to Bill of Lading, Inventory, Pre and Post trips inspections, Orders and Fuel ticket copies. Ensure fuel tickets match orders.
* Able to handle exposure to dust, fumes, high and low temperatures, slippery surfaces, low-lit work areas, heavy traffic and high noise levels.
* Able to drive in hazardous conditions, including weather, tight quarters, and inner-city locations.
* Understand and follow the BP/Husky Refinery Safety Culture.
* Regular and reliable attendance and a presence at work.
* Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines and employee handbook policies.
* Valid driver's license and ability/willingness to drive to any and all Corrigan facilities as needed.
* Operate in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
* Ability to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress.
* Demonstrate professionalism, good interpersonal skills, be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications / Experience/Education:

* Valid CDL class B license required. Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brakes Endorsements required.
* Pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, Clearinghouse verification and 7-year criminal background check.
