Position Details:

Primary Responsibilities:

* The Vascular Technician provides quality diagnostic Vascular testing. (Omit Echocardiography & Cardiology testing)
* Operates vascular ultrasound equipment and associated computer systems (Omit echocardiography equipment)
* Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination
* Position patients correctly and apply appropriate equipment to obtain accurate imaging results
* Operate Vascular equipment and associated computer systems
* Provide preliminary findings to the interpreting physician
* Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and documentation of procedures performed
* Adhere to all relevant safety standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Valid ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or CCI
* 2+ years of recent experience as an Vascular Technologist
* Proficient in operating Vascular equipment and associated computer systems
* Solid knowledge of vascular techniques Vascular anatomy

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues
* Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
