**The role you'll contribute:**

The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.

· **Resolves customer service issues in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.**

· **Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.**

· **Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or sex**

· **Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department's policies and procedures**

· **Demonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families and Imaging services administration**

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:**

· High School Diploma or GED upon hire

· Diploma from an approved school of Radiologic Technology upon hire

· Two years' experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist

· Current ARRT certification upon hire

· Current Florida State license in Radiologic Technology upon hire

· Basic Life Support Certification upon hire
