Job Summary: Provides a safe environment for children

This position is being utilized to help aid in our School Aged Summer Camp Program. Our Summer Camp runs from July 1st through August 30th. Schedule would vary based on availability as per diem. Summer Camp needs would reflect a full time position during those summer months. Welcomed option to continue position after camp concludes throughout the rest of the year to aid in School Age vacations and time off.

Responsibilities:

* Ensures children are supervised at all times.
* Ensures the environment is safe, clean and in good repair. Reports deficiencies to supervisor

immediately.

* Follows acceptable protocol when accepting children for child care coverage.
* Interacts with children and parents appropriately.
* Assists in maintaining the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor, and learning environment of the

classroom while allowing for the expressive and creative involvement and interaction of children

Complexity of Work:

* Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal

supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

* Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Required Credential(s):
* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

* High school diploma or GED preferred.

Pay Rate ranges from $16.00 - $22.37 per hour.
