DESCRIPTION:

As an Assistant Service Manager at Fisk Electric, reporting to The Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

* Maintain and foster contacts with facilities operations, owners, consultants, contractors, vendors and material suppliers
* Act as a subject matter expert regarding some electrical engineering activities
* Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met
* Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction
* Coordinating meetings, scheduling updates, submitting deliverables and addressing outstanding 'open items' as requested by clients
* Preparation of look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports
* Reviewing and monitoring job costs versus budgets
* Keeping emphasis on the client, develop an understanding of the client's culture, key people and processes
* Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the estimation process
* Manage and assist project layout and coordination
* Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
* Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
* Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals
* Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
* Responsible for all financial reporting, tracking and projection of all labor, material, job expenses and changes for each project assigned
* Maintain all submittal, drawing, correspondence, and change logs
* Submit, review for added cost, file and log all RFI's
* Prepare, organize, and manage material buyouts
* Track major deliveries to jobsites
* Actively assist project Superintendent (PS to Lead Technician) with all miscellaneous issues as necessary (Material, information, special items, constructability, etc)
* Weekly jobsite visits and attend all jobsite meetings as required

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years of service experience
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Service Manager experience preferred
* Leadership experience required
* Electrical License required
