Pediatrics provide family-centered care for infant, children, adolescent and young adult patients requiring regular pediatric care as well as pediatric intensive care. The Pediatric unit is home to Outpatient Infusion Center, a place where patients under the 18 years of age can come to have infusions given by expert Pediatric Nurses. Pediatrics has a Child Life Assistant who assists families and children cope with the challenges of hospitalization. Pediatrics has a multidisciplinary team who develop a plan of care unique to each patient while meeting their specific growth, developmental and cultural needs, utilizing evidenced based practice to provide top notch medical care. Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education: Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire. Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred# Successfully complete PCT classes as required by care center/unit. # #
