First Children Services is currently seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team We proudly supported our focus on education in a new partnership with Capella University, where our employees can take advantage of free CEUs and certificates.

Day to day primary functions:
  • Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
  • Read and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
  • Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
  • Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

What we require from you:
  • 1 year minimum of working with children
  • BA degree in Psych, Social Work, or Education
  • 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required
  • Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Willingness to accept and implement feedback
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
