Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center clinical services.
Experience
* Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
* One year of LPN experience required
* Surgical procedure experience preferred.
Education and Training
* Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
License, Certification, & Registration
* LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses
* CPR
Other Requirements
* Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice.
* Able to provide a high level of customer service to meet patient experience standards and expectations for the Family Birthplace.
Master Schedule
* Week 1 - Mon., Tues., Fri., Sat.
* Week 2 - Sun., Tues., Wed., Thurs
* Week 3 - Mon., Tues., Fri., Sat.
