The Role

As our Compliance Manager, you will lead our compliance function globally, ensuring that Lakeside observes all relevant local and international regulatory requirements. Reporting to our General Counsel, you'll work cross-functionally to expand compliance oversight and operations based on Lakeside's growth and product offerings.

What You'll Do

The core functions of this role include:

* Serving as the project manager for ISO 27001 and SOC2 compliance
* Overseeing SysTrack Cloud CIS, ISO and SOC 2 controls audits
* Implementing, monitoring, and evaluating our Risk and Compliance Program
* Managing the supplier risk assessment process
* Administering compliance training and documentation for all employees, and secure development training as needed
* Owning all compliance policies, and maintaining the central SharePoint/Confluence for all compliance documentation
* Contributing to and assisting with third party risk and security questionnaires
* Supporting the administration of the company's data protection program
* Participating in incident management and internal investigations (as needed)

What You'll Bring to Lakeside

The key requirements for this role include:

* 5+ years of relevant experience working in a compliance, legal, risk management, and/or internal operations role
* Comprehensive knowledge of information security and security governance, risk and compliance frameworks, methodologies, and practices especially those unique to the SOC 2 and ISO 27001
* Experience with Cloud SaaS Solutions, preferably operating in Azure
* Working knowledge of IT processes and policies, IT compliance, IT frameworks, such as SOC 2, NIST CYF, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and CIS
* Ability to effectively communicate compliance and infosec requirements with technical and non-technical individuals both internally and externally
* Ability to evaluate and communicate risk in a fact-based manner and handle confidential matters discreetly
* Strong project management skills and high attention to detail
* Familiarity with data protection laws and concepts
* Experience working cross functionally with members of the Legal, InfoSec, IT, DevOps, Engineering, People, and Finance teams
* People-oriented, emotionally intelligent mindset with an ability to develop strong relationships and navigate challenges
* Solution oriented, collaborative work style with a low ego approach

Additional Details

* Location: Preference for Hybrid with 1-2 days per week in our Downtown Boston, MA office. The frequency at which the hire will be asked to come onsite is based on their proximity to the office
